The South Korea: 12th International Arbitration & Corporate Crime Summit is back in Seoul and will take place on Thursday 20 August 2026 at Jipyong, Seoul office

Tan Sri Nallini Pathmanathan, Moderator - 1st Grand Panel
Independent Arbitrator & Mediator
Nallini is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a certified mediator. She presently sits as a full-time arbitrator and mediator. Nallini was appointed a judge of the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC) as of end March 2026. She has yet to be benched. Appointed to the Bench in 2007, Nallini is the first female judge of South Asian ethnicity to be elevated to the superior judiciary in Malaysia. She served in the High Court ,specifically the Kuala Lumpur Commercial Court and the Admiralty Court, before being elevated to the Court of Appeal in 2014 and to then to the Federal Court, Malaysia’s apex court, from 2018 until her retirement on 23 February 2026. She was conferred honorary awards by the King in 2014 and in 2023. Nallini holds a degree in Physiology from the University of London and undertook the conversion course in law, prior to being called to the English Bar in 1984. She then joined Skrine in Kuala Lumpur and practiced at the Bar for 21 years before her appointment to the Bench.

Leonora Riesenburg is an Independent Chartered Arbitrator and Accredited Mediator at INTADR DMCC, Dubai, and an International Tenant at 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square in London. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a Fellow of Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR), and stands as a leading figure in international arbitration, mediation and adr in Middle East, Asia, and the UK. Leonora specialises in complex disputes across key sectors, notably in investment, infrastructure, construction, real estate, joint ventures, banking and finance, and receives routine Chairmanship appointments. Senior Foreign Legal Consultant, Ashurst Korea JV
Ronnie King is a senior foreign legal advisor at Ashurst KJV where he has based since Spring 2023. He commenced practice in 1984 in London and was a partner in Ashurst between 1994 and April 2025 specialising in dispute resolution. Ronnie has particular experience in energy sector disputes, major infrastructure projects and white collar crime. He has been based in Asia since 2016 and is a former managing partner of Ashurst’s offices in Singapore and Tokyo. Ronnie has represented S.O.E. companies, international oil majors and independent oil and gas companies in arbitrations and litigations in various jurisdictions and arbitration centres across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Ronnie has represented clients on disputes at all stages of the M&A cycle. This includes pre-emption, lockouts, earn- out disputes, tax indemnification and various forms of price adjustment. His cases have included arbitrations in which allegations of bribery and embezzlement have been brought. Somin Katelyn JUN is a partner in Global Dispute Resolution Team. She handles cross-border litigation and international commercial arbitration, specializing in foreign investment, antitrust, energy trading, and TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications). She has led multiple complex international arbitration cases across Asia, including Indonesia and Cambodia. She also has extensive experience handling civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts in the United States.

Yong Ik LEE is a partner in Global Dispute Resolution Team. He handles international arbitration, cross-border litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Yong Ik LEE has led multiple international arbitration cases as well as U.S. state and federal civil litigation cases from the initial strategic planning stage to the enforcement stage. Dr Nagla Nassar
Senior Partner, NassarLaw
Dr. Nagla Nassar is Senior Partner at NassarLaw which was established in 1885. She graduated from Cairo University and Trinity College where she got her M. Litt and has an LL.M from Harvard University as well as a PhD from Geneva University and the Diploma of The Hague Academy in Private International Law. Before joining NassarLaw in 2004 she practiced in several jurisdictions and is a member of several bars. She was with the ICSID Secretariat and is a member of different arbitration forums including being a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a Council Member of the ICC World Business Institute. She has many legal publications analyzing critical legal problems and is abreast of current issues. With many years of experience both as corporate counsel and arbitrator she has acted on behalf of many major multinationals and Egyptian entities. Also, Dr. Nassar is appointed frequently as an arbitrator and has chaired many tribunals.

Moses W. Park

Moses W. Park is a dispute resolution lawyer practicing as a barrister (trial advocate) based in Hong Kong. His practice mainly focuses on conduct and resolution of cross-border and international commercial arbitration and litigation. He has handled a broad spectrum of commercial work with an emphasis on civil fraud, assettracing /recovery, enforcement of foreign arbitral awards/judgments, and amily office as well as shareholder disputes. Moses has expertise concerning recovery strategies and emergency relief measures related to fraud including Mareva injunctions, Norwich Pharmacal orders and asset tracing proceedings. He is well versed in the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards process in Hong Kong. Young Shin Um
Senior Counsel, International Arbitration Team, KCAB INTERNATIONAL
Young Shin Um is a Senior Counsel at the International Arbitration Team. Young Shin worked as a Senior Deputy Director at the International Dispute Settlement Division in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea, where she managed investor-state disputes and represented the Korean government in ICSID Rules Reform Project and in UNCITRAL Working Group III. Prior to joining the government in 2020, Young Shin practiced international arbitration in major Korean law firms. Young Shin holds LL.B. and J.D. from Seoul National University (LL.B., 2007, and J.D., 2012), LL.M. from New York University (LL.M. in International Legal Studies, 2008/LL.M. in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration, 2019), and is S.J.D. candidate at Seoul National University.
