Ben is an experienced counsel at the English Bar and an arbitrator in international commercial disputes. He is a member of 39 Essex Chambers and is English qualified, however, he has lived and worked in Asia for more than 10 years. In his counsel work, he provides advisory and advocacy services across a broad range of sectors, principally general commercial, international trade and commodities, business sales and purchases, joint venture and other commercial agreements, energy, and insurance and re-insurance. He has acted for private and state-owned enterprises in many jurisdictions. Most of his work is multi-jurisdictional and involves issues of private international and foreign law. Ben also sits regularly as an arbitrator (50+ appointments) and has been appointed under all of the leading arbitral rules in matters with seats in Singapore, Australia, India, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Russia, France and England among others. Roderick Cordara KC SC, Keynote Speaker

Roderick Cordara is a barrister and a graduate of Cambridge University (Trinity Hall, MA (first class)). He is a Senior Counsel in Australia and King’s Counsel in the UK and is admitted to practice in the Courts of Australia, the UK, and the Singapore International Commercial Court. Roderick practices in international commercial arbitration, including investor state dispute settlement [‘ISDS’], as well as Court litigation arising from arbitral awards and enforcement. His international commercial dispute practice focusses on arbitration involving various sectors: energy (oil, gas, renewables, and generation), financial services, construction, hospitality, trade, & shipbuilding. His ISDS work includes claims based on bilateral and multi-lateral investment treaties (Energy Charter Treaty). His EU practice, in front of the European Court of Justice, involved solely treaty-based disputes. Roderick is experienced in public law litigation (ie disputes with governments) relating to tax, duties, restitution and regulation. In this connection, Clients for whom he has acted in Australia include airlines, banks, miners, the motor distribution and retail optical industries, as well as transport and property development. Roderick has twice appeared in the High Court, and has represented the Australian government in the Full Federal Court. Overseas, he has appeared frequently in UK Supreme Court and European Court of Justice. He acts for the UK government in the export finance sector, with particular reference to sanctions, a subject in which he specialises. Essex Court, his London chambers, has a long and close relationship with New Chambers. Roderick accepts arbitral appointments, and appears as an expert witness to give evidence of English & Australian law. Roderick has a particular interest in Africa. In 2018, he was part of the legal team representing Somalia in its negotiations in Geneva to join the World Trade Organisation. He advised on the trade taxation aspect of the project. In addition he has been involved in a task force setting up new arbitral institutions in six nations in the East Africa (IGAD). Eva regularly acts in complex, high-value cross-border matters and has experience across a broad spectrum of industries and sectors including aviation, construction, commodities, shipping, and technology. She is called to the Singapore Bar and maintains both an active litigation and arbitration practice. Her key matters include acting for two creditors against Garuda Indonesia in multi-jurisdictional legal proceedings related to the stateowned airlines’ restructuring, and the liquidators of Ocean Tankers (Pte) Ltd in the fallout from the Hin Leong collapse. Outside of work, she serves on several Committees of the Law Society of Singapore including the Generative AI, Publications, and Foreign Bar Liaison (Japan) Committees. She is a member of the Organising Committee for the Singapore Insolvency Conference 2026, the flagship event of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore (IPAS). Randolph is the Managing Director of the Dispute Resolution Department of Drew & Napier LLC, Singapore. He also heads the dispute resolution practices of the firm’s Greater China Desk, International Trade and Private Client Practice Groups. Randolph has an active advocacy practice in international arbitration and mediation, cross border and domestic litigation. He is recognised and ranked by various publications including Chambers Asia-Pacific, Chambers Global, Legal 500 Asia Pacific, Asialaw Leading Lawyers, Chambers High Net Worth, Doyle's Guide and is a Benchmark Litigation Disputes Star. Datuk Sundra Rajoo, Moderator - 3rd Grand Panel

Founding President of the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR)

Datuk Professor Sundra Rajoo is a Chartered Arbitrator, Advocate and Solicitor of the Malaysian Bar, Registered Architect and Registered Town Planner. He is the Founding President of the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR), served two terms as Director of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (2010 to 2018 and 2023 to 2024), and is a Past President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2016) and of the Asia-Pacific Regional Arbitration Group, and Past Deputy Chairman of the FIFA Adjudicatory Chamber. He has conducted more than three hundred international and domestic arbitrations as presiding, sole and co-arbitrator in matters administered by, among others, the ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, the PCA, the LCIA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He holds visiting and honorary professorial appointments in China, India and Malaysia, and is the author of more than a dozen volumes on international arbitration, construction law, statutory adjudication and online dispute resolution.

Minn Naing Oo, Moderator - 4th Grand Panel

Arbitrator and Mediator, Arbitration Chambers

Minn Naing Oo is an Independent Arbitrator and Mediator with Arbitration Chambers. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. Minn is currently a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. He is also a member of the UNIDROIT-ICC Working Group on International Investment Contracts. Minn is the former Chief Executive Officer and Registrar of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). While at the SIAC, he was also Singapore’s representative to the UNCITRAL Working Group on revising the UNCITRAL arbitration rules. After the SIAC, Minn was in private practice with Allen & Gledhill LLP, where he was a Partner in Singapore and Managing Director of the firm’s Myanmar office. He also worked on the drafting of the Myanmar Arbitration Law 2016. He has advised government agencies and worked on various legislative reforms in Myanmar. Apart from his time at SIAC and in private practice, Minn was previously the Director at the Ministry of Trade and Industry Singapore overseeing Singapore’s WTO, free trade agreement and investment agreement negotiations.

Junxiang Koh

Junxiang is a Director at Clasis LLC (in association with Clyde & Co), Singapore. Junxiang’s main areas of practice are restructuring & insolvency, litigation and arbitration disputes, with a focus on shareholder disputes, employment, financial fraud, and regulatory investigations. Junxiang is a specialist in restructuring and insolvency, with an in-depth knowledge of Singapore insolvency laws and procedures. He has acted for liquidators, scheme managers, judicial managers and receivers in all aspects of corporate restructuring & insolvency, both contentious and non-contentious. This includes representation in the context of numerous high-profile insolvencies, particularly in the energy, resources and shipping sectors. He also has extensive experience acting for distressed companies in restructuring their debts and corporate turnarounds. Apart from restructuring and insolvency, Junxiang also regularly advises and represents corporations, directors and individuals in numerous high value, complex disputes, and appeared before all levels of the Singapore Courts. His matters frequently involve issues relating to alleged breaches of director’s duties, employment contracts, and professional liability. Elijah Putilin

Prof. Elijah Putilin, FCIArb is an independent arbitrator and counsel. Clients and peers describe him as being “highly able, keen and very efficient”, “a world class practitioner” and praise him for his ability “to present even the most complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner”. Prof. Putilin regularly sits as a Sole-Arbitrator, Presiding Arbitrator, or co-arbitrator in cases administered by leading institutions that involve application of civil, common, or international law. Naveen Sri Kantha

Naveen Sri Kantha is a Partner in the Construction Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Practice Group at Lee & Poh Partnership. With close to a decade of experience, he specialises in construction, energy and infrastructure disputes. He has appeared before all levels of the Malaysian courts and advises on domestic and international arbitration and CIPAA adjudication. His clients include developers, state-owned entities, contractors and consultants, whom he advises throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering and contract negotiations to dispute resolution. Naveen regularly speaks on construction law and arbitration, sharing practical insights drawn from his contentious practice and project advisory work. He has also contributed to various legal publications, including Standard Form of Building Contracts Compared (2024) and the Malaysia chapters of the International Comparative Legal Guide – Construction & Engineering for the 2024–2026 editions.

Peter Scott Caldwell

Independent Arbitrator & Mediator

Peter Scott Caldwell is regularly appointed as arbitrator, mediator, dispute board member and adjudicator on a wide variety of disputes or projects in various Asian jurisdictions involving parties from around the world. Peter is a chartered engineer with many years’ experience in managing major civil engineering works. He is also a Chartered Arbitrator and accredited mediator. Peter was a member of the working party which drafted the first edition of the IBA Rules for the Taking of Evidence in International Commercial Arbitration. He is board member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation Region 2, an Arbitrator Member of the Society of Construction Arbitrators and a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. He is a former Secretary-General of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and a founder member and past chair of the Society of Construction Law Hong Kong, a past chair of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) regional branch and was involved in founding the Thai Branch of CIArb.

Marcus Khoury

Marcus has been working as an inhouse legal counsel in the construction industry in the GCC, in particular in Saudi Arabia and in the UAE, for the past 20 years. He is both German and Lebanese and has graduated at the Sorbonne in Paris and the Universities of Cologne and Munich. In his spare time Marcus loves to hike and considers having walked more than 1000 km to the Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela as one of his greatest experiences.

Earl Rivera-Dolera

Earl Rivera-Dolera is a partner at TKI. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner and head of international arbitration at Frasers Law Company (formerly Freehills) in Vietnam, where she represented entities and individuals in arbitrations under the rules of major arbitral institutions (ICC, SIAC, VIAC, JCAA) and commercial mediations under SIMC rules in Singapore, and ad hoc rules in New York. She was also an independent arbitrator and a tribunal secretary to prominent international arbitrators at The Arbitration Chambers in Singapore. Earl also serves as arbitrator appointed as chair, ole and party-nominated arbitrator by the major arbitral institutions. She has served as arbitrator and issued awards under the rules of the ICC, JCAA, SIAC, KCAB, VIAC, and in ad hoc arbitrations. Md. Imam Hossain is In-house Legal Counsel of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC). Mr. Hossain served at the Attorney General’s Office of Bangladesh (2007–2009). Mr. Hossain has conducted numerous arbitrations and presided as Chairman in several Arbitration Tribunals in Dhaka, and advises on investment structuring for treaty protection Mr. Hossain has a publication on “The Impact of OBOR Initiative in the Asia Pacific Region”[1], Hors Serie Volume XXV, 2019, Modernization of National Commercial Laws and the Role of International Legal Harmonization and “Pursuing Sustainable Economic Development through “Right to Development,” Chevening Journal Volume 1 2012, Bangladesh. Mr. Hossain has attended numerous International Congress and Conferences, including 30th and 35th LAWASIA Conference as a speaker and 32nd LAWASIA conference as delegate.
