Ayse Lowe is a Bench Walk Advisors Director, based in London. Prior to joining Bench Walk Advisors, Ayse worked as a Manager within Arthur J Gallagher’s Dispute Resolution team. In her role she worked with international law firms and litigation funders around the world to achieve funding and insurance solutions for clients. Ayse also worked for one of the world’s largest litigation and arbitration funders for seven years in an underwriting capacity. Before entering the funding market Ayse worked for various law firms both in Turkey and in the United Kingdom. After finishing her scholarship funded Turkish law degree at Baskent University, she studied English Law at Nottingham Law School and graduated with distinction. Ayse is a Chartered Insurer. Ayse has recently been chosen as Who is Who Thought Leader by the GAR for Litigation Funding and the dispute expert of year for Lawyers Monthly US 2020.

Andrew Carpenter

Andrew represents insurance companies, private equity interests, investor groups and management teams on a variety of transactional, commercial and regulatory matters. His main focus is on M&A and related due diligence, particularly for insurance and private equity clients. He frequently advises on insurance regulatory and corporate governance matters in Hong Kong and advises on complex commercial agreements in a range of industries, including insurance, retail and technology. Andrew is the author of Lexis Nexis’ guidance on Hong Kong Insurtech. He is qualified in both Hong Kong and England and Wales.

Jonathan Humphrey

Jonathan Humphrey has more than 20 years of experience advising clients as an accounting and finance expert on complex contentious matters and in an advisory capacity. His experience includes the quantification of lost profits arising from breach of contracts and warranties, valuations resulting from expropriation and shareholder disputes and quantification of damages in respect of class actions, professional negligence, insurance claims, business interruption and post-acquisition disputes. He has worked across sectors including oil and gas, power, construction, IT and telecoms, financial services and manufacturing; and has an established international background working in jurisdictions including Australia, Asia, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Jonathan is appointed regularly as an expert in contentious matters and has experience providing oral evidence in commercial and investment treaty cases. He has worked in multiple forums, including international arbitration under ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, SIAC, DIAC and HKIAC rules, court litigation and mediation. Jonathan Crompton

Jonathan is a Partner in RPC’s Commercial and Financial Disputes team, based in Hong Kong. Having worked in Asia for over 10 years, Jonathan advises companies and individuals on contentious scenarios involving their Asian businesses. He focuses in particular on technology and financial disputes. Jonathan leads RPC’s cyber incident response team in Asia, and has advised clients across the world on cyber fraud, cyber-attacks, data privacy and law enforcement investigations. He has presented and published articles on data privacy and liability in the context of cyber security. He also acts as international counsel for technology and other multinational companies facing disputes (litigation and arbitration), regulatory investigations, data requests and other contentious situations. He often acts on some of the highest profile cases where other lawyers are conflicted. As a result he has built a strong network of law firms and other service providers across Asia and beyond, upon which he can call at short notice. Jonathan is qualified to practice Hong Kong and English law and speaks English, French and Swedish.
