David Craig QC’s practice encompasses large-scale multi-week litigation (often with an international/multi-jurisdictional dimension), urgent injunctive relief and appellate work, principally founded on disputes arising in the context of employment, partnership and LLP membership. David is generally instructed in high profile and heavyweight cases in the High Court, frequently involving conspiracy and economic torts, unlawful competition, team moves, the protection of confidential information, post-termination restraints, wrongful termination/expulsion, carried interest and bonus disputes (where he has acted in most of the landmark decisions), as well as claims arising in a regulatory context which raise important reputational issues, and whistleblowing and discrimination claims in the Employment Tribunal. He is often instructed by clients in the financial services sector (including investment banks, inter-dealer brokers, hedge funds, and individual employees in those sectors), but his client base is wide and includes insurers/insurance brokers, PR firms, professionals, and music and publishing businesses.

Fiona Loughrey, Panel Moderator
Head of Employment, Asia, Simmons & Simmons
Fiona is the Head of Employment in Asia at Simmons & Simmons. She founded the firm’s Asia Employment practice in 1999 and is widely recognised as one of the most experienced labour law specialists in the region, having been among the first solicitors in Hong Kong to specialise in this area, in the late 80s. Fiona advises on all aspects of the employment relationship. She has consistently been recognised as a Band 1 “Leading Individual” for Employment Law in Hong Kong by Chambers Asia Pacific and Legal 500 Asia-Pacific since their directories began (most recently in the 2021 editions), and is a member of the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific Hall of Fame.

Andrea Randall

An Employment and Regulatory Lawyer, Andrea advises on both Hong Kong and English law. She has significant and extensive experience in high profile complex litigation, including multi-jurisdiction disputes. Andrea undertakes all types of Employment Law work and advises both employers and employees on all aspects of the employment relationship. The focus of Andrea’s Regulatory practice is representing individuals who are the subject of internal investigations and/or external regulators including the SFC, the ICAC, the Labour Department and the police. Andrea regularly advises on matters in relation to whether approved persons are “fit and proper”. Andrea has extensive experience in representing both employers and employees engaged in civil proceedings as well as criminal prosecutions in Hong Kong and in England. Andrea has been ranked in all major legal directories including Legal 500, Chambers & Partners, AsiaLaw and the Doyle's Guide.

Jeffrey Wilson
Counsel, JunHe LLP
Jeffrey Wilson is a counsel at JunHe LLP and is based at the firm’s Shanghai office. He is a member of JunHe’s employment law team, which numbers more than 30 legal professionals in the firm’s 10 offices in mainland China. Jeffrey has more than two decades of experience assisting multinational corporations with labor and corporate law matters in China. Prior to joining JunHe in 2010, Jeffrey previously was associated with other law firms in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei. He received his JD degree and masters degree in Chinese studies from the University of Washington.
